The 1st year I made the Seattle Seahawks Korkers......and my best helper EVER...she just turned 1!
She was 6 and much more skilled! Still me best helper EVER!
Not so sure about the uniform color change that happened that year, but I guess they are! Here is a MOUNTAIN of Korkers!
Pretty much our ENTIRE town is Seahawks crazed! I make and sell a TON of korkers to show support. GO HAWKS!
And a new chapter of Seahawks bows begin!

From crafter to Certified RIBBON JUNKIE!

One day I saw Korker Ribbon on eBay.........that was how it all began.

I ordered it....and was hooked.

The way it felt and the way it played in my hands.

I didn't even make bows yet.

I made a korker and it got even better! I now had a REASON to order MORE ribbon! I was out of control...I ordered and ordered and ordered.

My sister had an idea one day to make some for the Seattle Seahawks...I did...she sold them in the bathroom during a cheer camp and got CAUGHT! They told her she had to stop...BUT one of the ladies who bought one, was the merchandiser for the pro-shop and I ended up making HUNDREDS of them for the Seattle Seahawks to sell!

That was about 8 years ago. For the first 3 years I made them for the Pro Shop and then just made them for their Jr. SeaGal Cheerleaders. I not longer make them as they have switched to the large cheer style bows.

That was how I got my seed money to buy...yep, MORE RIBBON!

I buy and buy and buy ribbon...and I cook it and cook it and cook it...yep, I am without a doubt a Certified Ribbon Junkie!

I am at the point that even an intervention would not work...so to my family, just learn to live with the ribbon that is absolutely EVERYWHERE in the house...and kids, some moms bake cookies, I bake ribbon. =)

I have 5 kids & 2 grandchildren. I live in a small town in the foothills of Mt. Rainier. We don't have a stop light and the High school, Middle school, & Elementary school are a block from each other. I have more ribbon than I know what to do with!
